In 2009, ZHANG Peifeng, who graduated from Boston University with a degree in Neurocognitive Systems, chose to stay at Boston University as a data analyst, designing and implementing dimensional data models for data warehouses to ensure a smooth flow of data to meet project needs. In his opinion, business data intelligence application is a data analysis application built on the basis of unified format and certain scale of enterprise data. Therefore, the first step to building a business data intelligence system for enterprises that have not yet undergone digital transformation is to “electronically” process enterprise data (where data includes all aspects of business operations, decision-making, and management, such as financial data, employee information, customer information, market data, etc.).
