Where the good news shines

University of Denver junior attacker Lauren Black was named to Team Canada’s 2024 U20 women’s roster on Thursday.

Black was an All- Big East first team selection and led the conference with four game-winning goals and recorded goals against seven nationally ranked opponents this season.

The World Lacrosse 2024 Women’s 2024 Women’s U20 Championship will take place in Hong Kong in August.

The tournament will be hosted by the China Hong Kong Lacrosse Association with support from World Lacrosse as the top women’s programs compete at the junior-level world championship, which last took place in 2019 with over 20 teams.
